Ideas and strategies on classroom arrangement, structure, activities, and organization:

Teacher’s who build their classroom foundation based around the structure, organization and activities tend to have safer more exciting classrooms.  Within this blog I have found and chosen my favorite four teacher’s websites who have come up with brilliant strategies to make my future classroom perfect when it comes to organization, structure and activities . Enjoy!

The first teacher’s blog that I have really come to love was called The Brown paper bag teacher. This women’s name is Catherin and she is full of amazing ideas in order to help a teacher organize their classroom. To start of her organization of her library area is extraordinary. As you can see in the picture her ideas of organizing the books from the genres to the alphabetical books is truly a great idea. This website was so easy to read through and it was amazing to see the different ideas from Catherine.

The next great example for organization and great activities comes from a website called pocket of preschool. This website showed a great discovery on how to organize and structure a math center. This website shows how the teacher has labeled everything to help the students  better understand where everything is. This center is filled with manipulatives that will make math more exciting to learn about and could make it that much easier as well. I personally loved this idea.

I have discovered these example pictures from the website listed above.

Organization can be crucial and key within the classroom. The next blog I found to be very useful when it comes to the structure of the classroom. Serenade to Second Grade: A Blog for Teachers provides many ideas on how she organizes her classroom to ensure her students learn and develop in a safe and exciting environment. The layout in the classroom is bright, spacious and positively inviting. It is seen that each center is clean and well organized. This blog was so fun to read and I loved every idea that the writer had. Each picture was from the blog itself.

The last teacher website I found that was so intriguing to me was from teaching mama. This website had such great ideas based around independent learning centers for the students in the classroom. The idea on the site was simply called the “quiet box” which is seen to be 5 boxes labeled Monday through Friday. These boxes are simply used at nap time or could even be used during an independent learning time. It was amazing to see that each box was filled with something different in each. Every item placed in these boxes promote quiet play. For example, in one of the boxes there is a puzzle, a book, an activity pad and a sticker book. I believe this is so amazing to have! It helps the children get comfortable playing independently  but also understanding how to do it quietly. Below I have attached the pictures that I had found from the website to show you! It is awesome.
